Situated between Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, Dunas Douradas is the ultimate beach location. Designed to resemble an open plan village with townhouses and apartments at the centre surrounded by larger, more luxurious villas, Dunas Douradas is a great rental option or holiday home choice.
No property is over two storeys high and all have a garden or terrace. Many have their own pools and BBQ areas. On-site facilities are excellent and are open all year round. All properties have low community charges.
The beach at Dunas Douradas is one of the best in the area and is only a 10 minute walk away. The resort has its own beach concession with sun-loungers, mattresses and umbrellas available at a reasonable charge.
The 220 properties of the resort are set out in nine different zones based on property numbers:

The apartments are usually in blocks of four and all are grouped around mature gardens and walkways. On the perimeter of these apartments are a selection of two and three bedroom townhouses – some with their own private pools. Across the road from the central reception is a small cul-de-sac with about 10 townhouses most of these have country views and swimming pools.
North of the central pool are three and four bedroom villas all with their own pools. Where the resort starts to border with Vale do Lobo there are semi detached two and three bedroom townhouses with plunge pools. These have roof terraces and some have sea views. There are also modern four and five bedroom detached villas here.
The SeaBreeze residences is the most recent development within the Dunas Douradas area. Comprising of just seven luxury apartments it is just a few minutes walk from Ancão beach. There is an infinity pool, underground private parking and on-site security.
