Quinta do Lago
The jewel in the crown of the Algarve
Quinta do Lago is arguably Portugal’s most celebrated luxury resort. Established in 1971 by André Jordan it is the jewel in the crown of the Algarve, with some of the most exclusive, luxurious and stunning properties in the country.
Sitting on 18 hectares within the beautiful UNESCO protected Ria Formosa National Park, Quinta do Lago does not disturb the environmental equilibrium. No detached property is higher than two storeys and all are designed to blend in with the surroundings.
With only an 8% construction density, Quinta do Lago is a highly desirable place to live with property prices continuing to appreciate since its inception.
In 2014, after undergoing an €11,000,000 refurbishment, Quinta do Lago’s North Course won World Golf Awards “Best New Golf Course” prize, Quinta do Lago’s South Course calls for precise tee shots and Laranjal is a great challenge for any golfer. There is also tennis, cycling, water sports, equestrian and spa facilities.
Property owners have access to a comprehensive portfolio of “in resort” support services. Quinta do Lago has its own property management company which handles rentals, technical and engineering services, landscaping and resort security.
Villas are built to extremely high standards with designs ranging from traditional to ultra modern and represent exceptional investment opportunities - demand invariably exceeds supply. Townhouses enjoy the same quality of build. Many are south facing with views over the Ria Formosa and are often purchased as lock up and leave holiday homes or buy-to-let investments. Apartments are spacious with sun terraces offering excellent views to golf, nature and ocean. Plots are always in high demand as Quinta do Lago’s administration rarely releases new land for development.
Rental income yields are high and are pretty much guaranteed through Quinta do Lago’s own rental and property management divisions.
